Woohoo! Most important thing at Casting is to enjoy your time there and make sure they know you're doing so. You have anything in particular that sounds like you'd be interested in doing it?

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

When do you think you would be able to start at Disney?

Yes, as Zazu said, break a leg! :D

Go in there and wow em. We know you can do it!

There's a few roles I'm interested in. I think that I'd enjoy being a monorail pilot, a character attendant, or some similar role.

Hopefully in just a few months. Depends largely on how long it takes for me to scrape the money to move together.

I'm kind of on the fence about being a Character Attendant. The stories in that other thread are scaring me a little. I don't want to have to get confrontational with guests too often. I know that it isn't that often where you have to get confrontational but I don't know what the average is between good and bad guests in that role. On the other hand the ability to make some magic and to actually be in the parks would be nice. I also sorta like the idea of being able to work all over WDW, all four parks, the resorts, character meals, etc.

Sorry for the triple post but I have a question to anybody who flies.

Are Mach 3 razors allowed in carry-on baggage? I believe they fall under the category "safety razors" which are allowed according to the TSA site but I'm not sure. I'm trying to take only carry-on baggage and avoid any undo delays at security.

Edit: After work today I bought the toiletries I needed in approved containers. I like the travel section at CVS, they have everything that is legal to fly with clearly marked and also have quart-size travel bags all in one handy section. Made it easy for me to get what I needed with no trouble.

I also went by Sears today and got me a new shirt, tie, and belt for the Casting process. I probably would have gotten pants but I'm an odd size, very skinny and long legged, so it is always hard to find me pants that fit. I have a good pair of dress pants anyway I can wear, it was the shirt and tie I was lacking.
