Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

It's true.... Ask Susi "I'm totally in love with the suite they gave me" Slicker and Raffles when they're next on here. She'll verify that the tarts were exactly what I described. They're even good after sitting in a fridge for hours on end. Yummeh!

Random question as we seem to be a traveling bunch of folk

Anyone here use the Registered Traveler aka CLEAR card system? I am headed downtown DC tomorrow to get my sign up finished and wondered if any of you use it.

I was looking at it, but since I don't need it for work, and After I retire, will not be doing that much travel, it dosn't seem worth the cost/upkeep. Also it is in place in only a few airports right now.

Someone that HAS to travel for work would probably benifit from that more, especially if they picked up the tab for the cost of it!!

Well, you know cops ALWAYS have to put that kind of thing in the evidence locker

This has nothing to do with the interesting lawn mower story, but at Disneyland I saw a approx 4 year old SPITTING repeatedly into Triton's Pond
Yup, Dad was right there watching him!

I have told this before on the board I know but how about spitting into the Manatee tank at the Seas! I wanted to send the little darling swimming but I didn't want to further pollute the tank.

None of the adults he was with seemed to care. But after he and I exchanged a look and a 'moment' he walked away before doing it again.

UGH.

I feel so sorry for the CM's who have to work the room outside Turtle Talk. If I had a dime for every time they were freaking out cause some kid was about to stick their hand in.

I'm thinkin eventually they're going to have to enclose those more fully- too many parents were dangling their kids over the pools to give them a better look and the poor CM's had to deal with it.
