Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

BTW, you spelled hydrangea right according to the spell checker built into Firefox that automatically checks everything in text boxes.
Oops! LOL I should have done that huh? I'm not so much worried on the post count. Somehow I don't think it'll take long to get me back there. As long as I haven't broken any rules, which if I have I preemptively apologize for. . .pm me or email me mods if there are any issues. If public flogging is warrented, show me to the stockade just don't cut me off I needs my SGT!!!

Glad to know I spelled it right thanks Shorty! some days the brain fires on more thrusters than others.

Now for that cake. . .anybody want some? Pepperidge Farm chocolate fudge with confetti topping. . .

Edward Scissorhands is about as sad an ending as I can handle when it comes to Sci-fi. . .and he was happily up there sculpting in the end at least.

You know, we're about to get buried tonight in snow. I wonder what masterpieces Edward is whipping up, up there on his mountain?

You must be in my part of the country. I'm right in the middle of the "in the deep stuff up to here (hand held over head) part of the weather graphic. We're expecting about 10-12 inches on the ground by the time I get off work at 5 am. :( And I bet the plows will not be doing anything on the roads betwen work and home before then.

Yep! Sharing the mid-western magic out here!

Hey, Edward! Knock it off, already will you?

Maybe we can teach that boy to knit. Cause dayam.

Be careful driving home! My husband was able to get the day off tomorrow because a big meeting was cancelled- so hopefully we can just weather it out at home. . .

Unfortunately in Radio Operations you work. Weather, holiday, fire, flood, tornado, etc are not a valid excuse for not being on time. In fact the worse things are outside the building the MORE important that you be here.

Of course being in Master Control, surrounded by sound proof studios I don't have a window to have any idea what is currently happening outside. But I just spoke with the janitor who was just called back for the third time since 5pm to shovel out the doors as the snow was making opening the doors difficult. He hasn't been able to do any actual cleaning inside because as soon as he shovels out one door and sidewalk, another one on another side of the building is snowed in.

Belated, or early??? :)

I was looking at Disney pins online the other day and saw a cool one with the Partners statue in gold, with Cinderella Castle silhouetted in the background.

I looked at the pin name and saw it was an April Fool's Day pin, and I wondered why. It took me a second to realize that in the Partner's statue, Walt was holding Donald's hand!
