I think I am losing my mind...
Re: I think I am losing my mind...

A friend of mine who started in Fiesta Village several months after I did ended up getting stuck in Rotation 2 (at the time that was the Merry Go Round, Slingshot, and Dragon Swing.) About a year after she started, she started to sleep run Dragon Swing. Literally, she was loading cycles while she was asleep at home at night, speiling and checking lap bars that literally weren't there. Needless to say, she got crosstrained very quickly!felinefan wrote:When I first started working at Knott's, I would go home, and I could still hear crowds of people talking, kids laughing, and other crowd sounds. I mean, I would be in my bathroom and hear this stuff, and I'd wonder where it was coming from. Really freaky. And of course in my dreams I was back at the park. I swear they use mind control over there at Knott's even though I (thankfully) don't work there anymore.

I guess that's what they mean when you say you can run the attraction in your sleep! LOL! I couldn't resist. The Land is pretty much the same, wait for the light to blink, advance the boat. Wish fulfillment? How often do you wish that an SG would "take a dive" at the crocs? So it's not suprizing if this wish got fulfilled in a dream.Big Wallaby wrote:I've had similar things happen. Like the dream where someone goes over on the croc bridge. I've had it repeatedly now. I am getting more used to it...

Re: I think I am losing my mind...
I've had plenty of work related dreams and nightmares...
most recent was I was at a dispatch console for some hybrid jurassic park river adventure/everest/darkride. some kid kept sliding out of his lap bar, but the vehicle was dispatched anyways. One of our more incompentent CMs IRL was there and I kept shouting to them to hit an estop (which they never did), while I chased after the vehicle going up a lifthill to keep the kid inside. ride went 101 and everyone on the vehicle just got up and started walking around. I woke up shouting "IF YOU DON'T GET BACK IN THE CAR I WILL HAVE SECURITY REMOVE YOU LAST CHANCE"

On my assessment day for my first complex, I went into rotation for the first time on my own first position I went to was Pan Merge. Got stuck there for a while, brand new. That night my dad told me I was shouting "Fastpass! Fastpass! Have your fastpass out!" I remember being freaked out because there were so many people passing by me, it was like watching a stampeed of angry people.
Glad I'm not the only one that has weird dreams about work ;)

When I have dreams about work, I dream that I am having a horrible shift at a hospital I worked at over 15 years ago. I wake up exhausted!

Do you ever walk around with a rectal thermometer parked on top of your ear?DisneyMom wrote:When I have dreams about work, I dream that I am having a horrible shift at a hospital I worked at over 15 years ago. I wake up exhausted!![]()

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
