Ah, you guys are bringing back memories. Loved Kukla, Fran & Ollie. They were my inspiration to get into puppetry long before the Muppets came along.

I also really got into H.R. Puffenstuff, and I remember seeing him "live" on stage at Six Flags over Texas back in the day. Though I must say, I saw an episode again a few months ago for the first time in years, and watching it as an adult convinced me that its creators either invented crack or were early users. Bizarre!
Land of the Lost? I thought it was lame even when it first aired, but... I often watched anyway. Ah, the old days, when we had only a few channels and it was harder to avoid lame shows. :)

I was watching "I love the 60's" (or was it the 70's?), and they interview the guy that played in H.R., and showed clips, I can't believe how lame it was! And he talked about how it was just a little wierd that H.R. always seemed to be around him!!

And we have a winner! A singing cowboy horse riding a horse, with his sidekick burro riding a burro, playing a guitar. And with a lightning costume change (a cape and mask) Quickdraw became El Kabong who's fearful weapon was his guitar. :D:

When I was younger, KTLA Channel Five used to show the best classic cartoons. They had a Popeye cartoon show followed by George of the Jungle. I loved Tom Slick and Super Chicken. I can't wait until the DVD is released in a few weeks.
I think KABC Channel 7 (Los Angeles) was the station that aired Rocky and Bullwinkle reruns for a while back in the early 80s. One of the best.
I was (and still am) a huge fan of the Muppet Show. I was a toddler when the show originally ran and my parents had to tape the show because I would cry when it wasn't on! :kermit: :fozzie: :sam: :statler: :waldorf: :rowlf: :beaker: :honeydew: (ok got a little carried away with the smilies)
Since no one has mentioned it and since I am a big collector of it, Peanuts specials and the Charlie Brown and Snoopy show rocked! :snoopy2: :woodstock

Someone mentioned Kimba. Does anyone know if it's available on DVD?
