You couldn't be cool in gym class if you didn't have red ball jets!!
And how about Red Goose shoes!!! especially if you got the golden goose egg after your parents paid for the shoes!!!
I did like Star Trek, but never had time or inclination to go to the conventions.
Of course before that, my favorite show was Fireball XL-5!!
And Sky King!!!

Holy Bozo Batman, look at all the SGs!

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Me too! "Out of the blue of the western sky comes....Sky King!"
I didn't like XL-5 because only their mouths moved! Cheesey.
Yes, Red Goose Shoes! Didn't you pull the goose's neck to get the egg? Awesome. I think they even had a little slide to play on.
We must be from the same era, GP!
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Could be!! I remember Pulling the gooses neck! (sounds vagely tacky!) for the "free" egg! I also remember watching "Super Car" and "Stingray" on saturdays', but they were along the same lines as XL-5, Supermarionation!! Interesting that XL-5 had the "hover cycles" that were "invented" in the Star Wars movies! Or that the Jedi's use the same breathing device underwater that was used in the "stingray" series!
(sorry, sometimes I recall inane trivia about things I have read or seen long ago!)

I don't remember super car or sting ray, but I watched King Leonardo and Odie Cologne, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Wonderama on Saturday Mornings. Tennessee Tuxedo. Underdog. Somebody stop me!

How could you not like XL-5, yet like Clutch Cargo? The Supermarination shows had better animation than Clutch Cargo, and they were live action puppetry!
