We have 1 siamese. She is a wench. If we ever dared to bring another cat in the house, I think she would shred our traitor faces as we slept.
She does not sleep on the bed. She sleeps on DH's head. He used to move her 125 times a night, then he just gave up.
Amazing thing about her is she LOVES our 3 year old. She follows him around and will choose to sit on his lap over anyone else in the house.
It probably helps that he usually has some sort of meat in his hair.

Re: Bedbugs?????
I have a fox terrier infestation. Problem is, they're smarter than I am. Here's an example: One night, my totally deaf 15-year old PT runs to the door barking. His sister, 7-year old Charity, runs to the door to bark too. PT runs back and steals her spot on the couch! I don't think I'd have thought to do that. I have a 13-year old cat named Bailey too, and they take turns torturing him (although he loves it). PT's my dog and Charity's Bailey's dog, and everyone is happy.

Now, THAT is funny shit! That would be great in a stand up act! Funny Steph!!!!!
Our big boy, Orion, =^.^= used to sleep on my pillow. I would wake up with a stiff neck and my head twisted down on my shoulder and fur all over my face and their was big ole' Orion, stretched out across my pillow. He weighed about 25 lbs at that time and I would just crawl to the middle of the King sized and take the center pillow which is where HE was supposed to be sleeping. I miss that. He was warm and cuddly, even though he took the whole pillow, I let him... :) Cats.....

Re: Bedbugs?????
Have you ever heard a miniature schnauzer howl? It's kinda like a squeaky toy in tone and pretty funny until it happens at 3 AM. We've had Scooter for two weeks and she's become very attached to my wife. She started off sleeping in my daughter's room but wanted her mommy. After three nights of squeaky toy howls we gave up and let her into our room. She usually sleeps at the foot of the bed and has only pushed me out of bed once.

That's why the CATapult was invented. :D:StephM wrote: She does not sleep on the bed. She sleeps on DH's head. He used to move her 125 times a night, then he just gave up.
I don't believe it! We don't have a catapult smilie in the violence section. How can that be, how can that be.
Zazu, you are going to have to increase the violence section by one more.

Re: Bedbugs?????
OMG I am already getting more scarily bug-ophobe to add to my already existing germ-o-phobia why do I have to look! Why can't I just step AWAY from the bug threads???
If I keep going at this rate I'll be totally agoraphobic like my mother is in another 30 years. No way.
I have to be brave. . .must. . .go. . .see. . .the smiling rodent. . .must. . .overcome. . .fear! *Gripping sides of chair and thinking more coffee is needed as a distraction*
This is why we need someone to get on inventing those Star Trek transporters. Could zap any bugs you may pick up on a vacation and kill em all before you get home.
Course, if those malfunction you end up with your body half way through the floor. So.
Everything in life is a trade off I guess.
I hate the fact I always feel itchy after reading these threads no matter what LOL

Re: Bedbugs?????
My cat Tripod sleeps on top of me at night. As long as her tail isn't tickling my nose, no prob. But I tend to move around quite a bit as I sleep, and eventually she says the heck with this and either sleeps at the end of my twin bed or on the floor.
I had three cats several years ago, two fixed boys and Tripod, who was the youngest of the three. They got along pretty well until I petted one, then the other two would run up and demand to be petted as well. I miss my two boys, especially Cleo, the oldest. Worst of all, I don't have pictures of them. (I can't find a sad/crying smilie here.)
I wouldn't mind having more, but my current living situation doesn't allow for it.
There's this house in San Diego known as The Cat's House, and the couple who live there have at least 30 cats. The place is designed around them. There's a coffeetable book on it as well.
