Like a bunch of kids on a trip. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" And dad in the front seat: "Shut up or I'll turn this car around!" :D:
Or you could do like my dad did. The very first time I asked the infamous question, he handed me the road atlas, showed me how to read it, and put me to work keeping track of where we were (and how fare we had to go). The funny thing was that this happened well before I learned to read. But I could understand a bend in the line, or a line crossing the one I am on, to represent real world locations.
It's amazing how quick the "when are going to be there" question disappears when the answer is to hand you the map and the question is then asked of YOU. :D: And as a side benefit, with a map in hand it takes a real effort to get lost. I may be turned around from time to time, and I may occasionally have a vague idea of "I'm right in this area", but I never get so lost I can't get out of it without becoming upset or panicing (as some people I know).

With a little training they could be very useful in getting into the corners and around the ceiling. They wouldn't need a step ladder. (And you could save money on your car insurance at the same time....right?) :D: :D: :D:

Oops! You're right. Gotta watch out for the critters.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Flies, ants and cockroaches work better. You should see them move when they spot one. There's nothing better than seeing a gecko munching on a 'roach.

We had geckos in Panama' I LOVED to see them go after the spiders *shivers*. Having a gecko in the closet gave you some hope of not having a nasty bug living in your shoes

Between the geckos and anoles, we have 24 hour bug coverage. If we could grow them big enough we could get rid of the centipedes too but they might go after the dog.

We had a pair of cane spiders in our house in Hawaii once. They were HUGE! They were on the closet door and they were "talking" to each other. I don't know if they were challenging each other or getting ready to mate, but you could actually hear them making noise. Needless to say, they both got clobbered with a big shoe.
