This is one of the coolest videos of Fantasmic! I have ever seen. It shows BOTH at the same time and shows the differences in the two Park's versions! Very cool! Check it out!

Re: Fantasmic! Disneyland vs WDW
That was such a great find Susi. It was always hard to see and figure out the differences between both the DL and WDW shows. It not makes it even harder to pick a favorite (which will never happen because they are both great versions).
Some things that I liked about the DL version over the WDW version were the different boats used. While it is nice to see a Steamboat Willie boat for the finale at WDW, I like DLs finale boat so much better. Also the Peter Pan scene is far more spectacular in my opinion compared to the Pocohantas scene at WDW.
I do like seeing the Lion King scene at WDW mainly because it is one of my favorite Disney films of all time. Also, the fact that WDW has its own ampitheater to perform the show whereas at DL they have to use existing locations which can make travelling around it a nightmare.
One thing I did notice, which is prolly just based on the nights that the shows were filmed, was that Mickey seemed to be a little more animated in his movements at the WDW version.

Re: Fantasmic! Disneyland vs WDW
I just saw WDW's night before last, and I think it's just as good as DL's.
The boat is just so much better at DL though. The one at WDW, to be frank, looked like it was going to fall apart during the show
.
On the other hand, the purpose-built stage at WDW just fits the show so much better than DL's Rivers of America. The mountain is a great touch. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't require what is basically the complete shutdown of half the park.
