My Smooth Move today

Post by iframedroger r » Sun Jan 06, 2008 1:44 am

Oon one of our carts over at DCA, we have an urn of coffee and an urn of hot chocolate. Well, i was helping the vendor push bac to the office, when she took a turn a little too fast, and dropped the urn of coffee, spilling it everywhere. Luckily the park was closed, so i had to go report it, and my lead told me just to use some paper towels to wipe it up. Mind you, this was a MAJOR spill. Well, we stayed out there for 11 hour cleaning up, with a bunch of cast members from other departments laughing at us. When we finally got back to the office, word had spread, and people were laughing at us.

It was fun.

Clean THAT up with a couple of paper towels? OK, where do I find the paper towels the size of a bus?

Personally I might have given up on the paper and gone for a dozen mops after the first 10 min. The reason for a dozen is every person who came by to watch (and snicker) would have been handed a mop.

I was in line for Nemo watching the CM change out the urn for hot chocolate. My first thought was, I want some. I then noticed that it was full, hot and not much fun to move.

Next time hand out some sugar and creamer and tell the peanut gallery to clean it up and walk away :D:

I was wondering about that myself. I am no Molly Maid, but I think I could have done it in a couple of hours at the most. And if it was after hours, couldnt you get a water hose and spray the area into the drain, then mop up? Possibly they have a set way of doing a coffee spill.

It's probably like when you go to the beach and find sand in places it shouldnt be about 2 weeks later.
