Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Are you going to have a retirement party/shindig or just sneak out the door? You should have a party at work - last chance for a free meal. ;)
Some do, but I will just have some co-workers in my "group" area go to lunch. nothing big. Over the years I have attended so many, and it wastes a lot of time, and the rookies don't have a clue about ending a carreer, what you have experienced and dealt with, so it means nothing to them. Plus its hard to talk with someone who wasn't born when you started working for the Government! (hence the GRUMPY tag!!)

Oh look, A baby Wolf!!

Yeah, tell me about it. My retirement speech included the comment that I'd been working for the feds for 37+ years, longer than many of the young petty officers had been alive. I reckon they think I'm just an old codger. :old:

Hey Zazu, have you got a female version of the old codger? :)

All of you here know of my immense love for Christopher Walken. Let's get him to come to any one of those parties and I will be there, walkin' with Walken...

To me that was obvious. No military wife, current or former, would EVER submit a story like that, even if she said up front it was fictional. :(
Good Morning America did a whole segment on it and the woman would not even face the cameras. She had "nothing to say" to any media! I bet she didn't. What an absolute loser of a mother. Poor kid. Look what she gets for life. That is sad. :(

I always believe in what goes around comes around..or Kharma, you know the little car.

I firmily believe that her name and address should be "sent" to the troops, so that they can express their feelings about that stunt! Put THAT on Good Morning America!!

She can join the likes of Jane Fonda in the Most Popular with the Veterans contest.

That would ensure that she and her family would have some "magical" moments, maybe be made to attend a few funerals of the fallen, hopefully it would impart the magnatude of what they did for free tickets. (but I doubt it would affect them at all!)

Good old Jane. She was so shallow she just went with whoever she was dating at the time. I believe her Vietnam era boy friend was Donald Sutherland but she took all the heat. Of course, it is hard to deny the pictures of her sitting in an anti-aircraft gun emplacement.

She got pretty quiet after marrying the Mouth Of The South. Ol' Ted is a pretty hard act to follow.

Its funny, because a vetrans group protested her speaking at some event, and she stated something like "that was a long time ago, I moved on!" The groups statement was, a lot of our brethern couldn't move on, because they were killed. what a piece of work. I think she peaked in "Barbarella"

There is no obligation, it's just a fun, informational party about DCL, and you can be among the first to preview the new video.
Sounds like fun, how much will it cost me and when on the 26th? I'll have to see about arranging time off work for it.

Also, I already have your autograph. :p: You signed the card you gave me the other week.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

time to make dinner. I will miss you all.
Setting here remembering the animated duck thread and how crazy that got.
I am tired of begging and tired of real life problems that make it hard for me to be on the internet as I am out of energy and hurting, sleep most of the day.
