At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Actually, I have a very short list of celebrities I would like to have on board, because I want the kind of people who will get into the whole storyline and enjoy it, as opposed to those who are just doing it to do it. From what I've heard, people like Johny Depp, Kirk Cameron, etc. would be fun to have. But Paris and Britney, I can't imagine them doing much more than sitting there thinking, "Dude, this guy's, like, trying to, like, impress me or something? And he's, like, so stupid? And he's, like, fat?

We quietly watched them videotaping for awhile, and I noticed the producer was a guy named Tony from Beverly Hills or Hollywood, I forget which (he had a CM nametag). He was wearing a shirt that had Mickeys and palm trees all over it, and I have the exact same shirt. I heard him comment that they needed someone who knew how to waltz. When he asked me if I wanted to be in the video, after I said YES I told him I knew how to waltz and I had the very same shirt he was wearing. So, they don't DARE cut me from the video, right?
The lady behind the project was also there, but I didn't catch her name. She asked if I had applied to be a hostess for a nationwide DCL House Party that will be held on January 26th and I said yes, I had applied, so she said she'd send me a copy of the video. I found out this morning that the new video is being made specifically for the House Parties and I think all my invited attendees will receive a copy. Too cool!
There will be just over 1,000 parties nationwide all on the same day, and 5 of them are here in our town, but I don't know the other hosts. If you want to check it out go to HouseParty.com and scroll down and click on the link to Disney Cruise Line. Maybe there'll be a party in your town and you can invite yourself!

I doubt they'll throw in a free cruise, and I'm not sure what Disney is sending for the goody bags, but I've got some little Disney things to use as prizes for the games. I might even give away a bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum as a door prize!
