Belated Christmas Cheer

Post by Kwahati » Thu Dec 27, 2007 12:34 pm

I was looking through Pearls Before Swine online to see if I can find a new panel by the great Stephan Pastis to use for my Avatar... In the search, I checked out the strip that ran on Christmas:

The backstory here is that Stephan Pastis was greatly influenced by the work of the late Charles Schultz (even though there work couldn't be more different) and he wrote lovingly about Schultz in the preface to the Pearls collection which was published shortly after Schultz's death. He's done several homages to Schultz and while I greatly enjoy them all, I thought this one was quite touching.

I love that comic strip and read it weekly. I kind of feel sorry for the crocs. I guess you being 364 days late makes it belated lol. I hope you have a Merry Christmas tomorrow and that you do not find a lump of coal in your stocking. Happy New Years and please more comics, I love your avatar, also.
