Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Did he lose his real home to foreclosure or just decided that he would get back to nature by living outdoors closer to it? Besides that, how on earth does he get all that stuff in there? It cant be underground rooms because he can pick up the box and move it to where he wishes. He must be magical like Mary Poppins (it will come back to something Disney related at some point).
A Piggy?? Hmmmm whats that about? It could be Spider pig?

Oh Vixen, please send me some. We didn't get ANY leftovers and I'm missing having turkey frittata, turkey sandwiches, turkey this, ham that, and I'd love some leftover taters of any kind. But I'd especially like some leftover desserts, super especially if they contain chocolate (sigh).

Maybe I'd better go eat a tuna sandwich for lunch. I'm hungry.

Mom is yelling a lot lately. I went to Rosewood thinking of Christmas Eve tamales but they were closed so here is our Christmas Eve Feast but not sure what tomorrow holds but I hope I do not have to cook on Christmas Day.

In the Outback Restaurant while waiting to get my food I had their sundae. Warm fudge sauce, strawberries, and real whipped cream poured on a ball of vanilla ice cream that is coated with toasted coconut. Glass of tea also.

At home mom had veggies, wheat roll, buttered baked potato and a top sirloing steak wth coffee.

I have the works on my baked potato, alice springs chicken which is a chicken breast piled high with greasyness, bacon, cheese, mushrooms and honey mustard sauce and for midnight snack a salad with cucumbers, cherry tomatos, house tangy tomato dressing, yum. And iced tea.

SEe you tomorrow
merry christmas
happy new years
hugs
churchy

Whoops sorry you are a little too late, I just set down the empty bowl. I rarely make them cause it is a pain to peel and cut and mash. And yes I do it all by hand. They taste better that way.

You are out of luck for dessert too. We had Santa's leftover package of cookies for that on Tuesday.

ON THE MASHED POTATO NOTE>>>>>>
how do y'all make yours? Are you a cooker then peeler/cutter or a peeler/cutter then cooker? My mother and I got into a "discussion" over this the other day. I figure why burn my poor widdle fingers by trying to peel hot potatoes or waiting for them to cool enuf to peel, defeats the purpose of having the hot butter melt on them. I peel all but a few that I am using ( I like the skins mixed in-they are good for you) and dice them up into like 1" cubes and toss them into the boiling water. They cook so much faster that way and no messy slippery taters. Just mash and serve. My mother actually cools them down in the fridge after cooking the whole potato with the skin on before mashing them.
So what do you all do?
