I hate cancer. Always seems to take the best. :(

Sounds like it was a mild attack.

Amazing what we know about the human body.

I had a boss (really, really nice guy) who fell over dead in a Home Depot, with a massive heart attack. Two nurses saw him go down, kept his blood flowing (starting within 45 seconds), and they managed to bring him back, but only after about 40 minutes of working on him. He came in to work a week later. He is fine now, with only some memory loss of his time in the hospital, and everything after he walked into that Home Depot.

His brother (owner of the company, even nicer guy than the one above) had died a week earlier because his heart basically exploded. There would have been no chance of bringing him back, even if a doctor had been standing there, cut him open, massaged his heart, etc...

About four years ago, a second level supervisor was working out in the "gym" we had put in an old office, treadmills, weight machine, etc. most people leave the door open for ventalition, as it is on a floor that has "non-office" rooms, storage, equiptment, server room, etc. He had shut the door.

Several of us were at the server room, which is less that six feet from the workout room. he had a heart attack, and died while we were looking at putting in some more lines, etc. ALL of us were CPR certified, but didn't know it. When another employee went to work out, she found him on the weight machine. CPR etc did not bring him back, he was 52!!
