Actual rant...

Post by CMGUY89 » Sun Dec 16, 2007 1:46 am

GRRR!!! I am so angry with management right now!!! I sent an email saying that I was ready to come back to work at the end of December about a month ago. I tried to stay in contact with my managers, my CSM, and I even talked to labor. They all said I was all set to be put back on the schedule. Schedule posted about three hours ago. "OFF" for the whole week!!! WHAT??? I have been emailing you people for over a month, left numerous VM that never got responded to, and gotten brushed off every time I e-mail. What is going on? It's not bad enough that they keep me in a bad attraction, but now I have to jump through hoops to be scheduled? They should really be specific about seasonal CMs coming back so we don't sound like total imbeciles! So now later on I am going to have to call around, get my managers voicemails (as I have for the past 2 weeks), talk to scheduling, and my CSM and try to get put back on the schedule. I think this whole thing is starting to give me an ulcer...who knew working for Disney would be this much work!!! Ok that sounded dumb, but you know what I mean.

[font="Comic Sans MS"]I'm just shooting from the hip here but it occurs to me that anyone that identifies themselves as an "abused CM" might just have a tendency to be a bigger pain in the posterior then traditionally underpaid middle management can happily tolerate.

I don't really know what the situation is here, but, most of the time massive screw ups like that are not nearly as accidental as it seems. Just a thing worth thinking about...MHO!

Hold on for just a second. When my schedule gets posted, it reads "Off" for about a day or two, then the schedule gets posted. But certainly make some calls and make sure.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Good for you and I am sorry about the negative speculation. It has been known to happen though to many people. Good luck and have a good time!

I'm happy for you CMGUY89.

Buses has been cutting back on the hours for CR's and CT's. Too many new drivers (now, just because they DON'T know property is no reason to put them on before the rest of us)..
There are almost no hours on the EHH, shift exchanges are getting ugly and there is almost no possibility to extend.

My speculation, it's due the enormous outlay to start up MiMs and the hiring frenzy to meet the FT contract requirements.

Yeah, I only got 6 hours on the 28th and 29th with no EHH to pick up. I put in extra request for New Year's saying I am willing to work a double both days. (I must be a glutton for punishment!) As much I as I dislike the Land I will be really happy to have my ugly polo back. It's my first attraction, it will always be special ;) . Luckily both of my shifts so far aren't until like 3 so that means I can run around and ride some rides!!! HEHE!
