Well we NEED examples of SG's to generally make US feel better! (hence the discussion board) Otherwise we'll start the 2x4 upside the head trick when we encounter them!!Kwahati wrote:Oh! An SGT! Thank you so much! It's just what I wanted! :D:

First of all I do not use an ECV but a PWC (power wheelchair) And that is not even close. I know of several PWC that go at speeeds up to 12 miles per hour.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Is that the ECV equivalent of going to Warp? hehehe

That's fast enough to beat my safari truck out of dual speed any day of the week.TalkingHands wrote:I know of several PWC that go at speeeds up to 12 miles per hour.![]()
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Michael Richards, playing Dick on Fridays, got Bongo from Valerie Bertinelli. Is it the same thing?GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:But is it faster than a Bongo?

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: First post, Smashed toes, Stupid Woman!
We got home Monday from a quick trip to WDW.. I was on my trusty small ECV when I got to run over a moron :D:
This guy was walking beside my DH & me for quite a while. He know I was there and even made eye contact a few times. He walked right into me because he wasn't watching where he was going and didn't see the path narrow.. Oops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch the road!

And then of course this guy goes to Board X and posts how HE got run over by the ECV!
That is how it happens every time.
On another note: I may need to rent the chair this trip at DL :( It will be the first time I ever have needed a chair there. My back is not doing so well this weekend, and I cannot imagine, even 4 hour days walking the Park, let alone the day of our tour which will be a VERY LONG day!!!! In order to beat the gate closing when the Park reaches capacity and it does at Christmas, we will have to be there early and our tour is not until 4PM.
I hope I do NOT sound like an SG here, but, I am wondering if any DL CMs here know if Guest Relations or Front Gate CM's can issue some sort of pass for us to enter the Park later in the day just for our tour, if the gates do close due to capacity. We do NOT have PAPs yet, we bought the Disney travel pkg again, thought we might buy them this trip before we leave. I understand that they continue to allow PAPs to enter UP TO A CERTAIN AMOUNT even if the gates close, because they allow for a certain number of Annual Pass holders, along with regular gate admission tickets. Then, once the Park reaches capacity with every type of ticket, it closes to everyone. Is this correct? I have heard this is how admission works on capacity days. This could be very wrong, but this is how I understood it from a CM once upon a time. (a while ago, when I asked about capacity...)
I am not sure I can make the whole day without lying down for a couple hours. My spine can't take it. I can only go for about 2 hours here and when we came last year, I could double that time at sea level. I think the air pressure at elevation plays havoc with my bad disk and the arthritic joint that needs to be fixed. :( This is not making me smile, though the thought of getting out of here and into Disneyland for a week is :D:
If we have to be there early and stay, so be it, I will rent a chair, no problem and we will make it through the day. If we CAN find some type of pass that will just get us to the tour in the afternoon, after lying down for a couple of hours after spending time with the DisneyMom family in the morning, that would be great!
I am so looking forward to meeting everyone and being in my happy place for a week.. Only 4 more days!!!!! Cannot come soon enough for me!!!!!!!
