Too bad a car didn't come along, and take care of the SG before he is allowed to procreate!

First, that is absolutely ridiculous!!! Where is Tower control? Why isn't the ride e-stopped??? Yes he's being a moron but where is the moron watching the cameras???
Second, Where the hell is security?
Third, Why is it that easy to get in the splashdown area?
Fourth, Theme Park water is disgusting...ew...

I really gotta know, just how important was that cap, or whatever, he went in to retrieve?

OMG!!! Where are his parents?? My child would be dead as soon as he tried to get into the pool. On a funny note though I kept thinking that a car was gonna come down and run him over. Now that would have been funny.

IDIOT!!! That was very stupid of him to do. He easily could have been killed.

Naturally the authenticity of these facts are debatable as they were comments on the video but the intrusion sensors shut the ride down and the kid got escorted out of the park by security. If a boat had come down at the wrong time he would have been killed, getting hit by one of those things is like getting hit by a bus on the highway according to one commenter. They would have been cleaning up his parts with a net.

I can see intrusion alarms going off and shutting the ride down. I would think that the entire track would be lined with them and there also being alarms on the water side of the fence so they would know someone was in there before they got near the track.

Any of our resident Universal employees know anything about this? The video was added to Youtube 2 months ago so I would think it happened around then.

I would hope that he was banned from the park, and turned over to the authorities for endangering his own life. Which under various state laws, can result in the police putting him in a mental institution for a 72 hour evaluation. (harm to self) (then see how funny he thinks it is, with that tag on him!!)

Water attractions are fickle things. Alarming the water is not as easy as it might seem. Especially since the water has a splash. More than likely there are security cameras with an employee watching them with their hand on the E-stop button. But also the kid crossed the track which might of sent a sensor out of sequence warning to the computer and Auto-E-stopped the ride. I know if that if boats bump at load we get a load sensor out of sequence alarm. Basically the computer sees another boat where it shouldn't be and stops the ride. He sure was one lucky dumbass...

Okay, this is just what I have heard. I don't know the story for sure, but one person told me this. Apparently that is the only area of the ride where there are no cameras. The cameras follow the boats all the way throough, stop at that area, then resume on the straight away going towards unload. Now a camera is there.

I would think that it should have been the FIRST area to have cameras, knowing that there are dumbass SG's running around! Especially the splashdown area where the danger is greatest! Then again...its NOT a Disney attraction, so they don't care!!!
