Like I said, there are so many computer techies here, I feel so...so...unknowledgeable, :p: (Iwas gonna say stupid, but that did not make me smile). I guess I need to go over to our local community college a block down the street and take some classes to get MORE up to speed.
Hell, I just learned how to post a picture on a thread and in an email. That was like conquering the world for me. :D:

I graduated University back in 1981. Computers? We didn"t need no stinkin' computers. We had *typewriters* and *pens* and something they call *paper*, it is made out of wood pulp and we read something they call *books*, real paper that you could hold in your hand! :hysteria:

Those were sad times for the country, young people on opposite ends of the spectrum. I think now when war happens, we tend to support the troops more, but not the war. I supported the troops then even in my hippiness because I had friends there and wanted them home, I never supported our government's reason for going to Southeast Asia.
I alway think of Buffalo Springfield music or Barry Mcguire's Eve of Destruction when I remember those times.

I have a friend who was in the Marines during the Viet Nam era. He had just gotten out of boot camp and was heading home on leave. He was walking through the San Francisco airport and was suddenly surrounded by protesters who started calling him a baby killer and war criminal.

The one thing he learned in boot camp was can't lose. He started chanting that in his mind and got ready to fight but realized he was in for an ass kickin' when he felt a large hand on his shoulder pull him back and a deep, rumbling voice say, "You don't want him. You want me!"

He looked up to see a 6' 12" recon Marine with four or five rows of ribbons on his chest and fire in is eyes. The protesters went poof.
