Spaceship Earth
So today, I found out that they had been hoping to do a soft opening of SE for Cast. I was told (can't say by whom) to hang around tomorrow if I had time, it could be a *very* good investment of time.
The new SE music is very cool.

I have ressies for Teppan-Edo tomorrow (formerly Mitsukoshi). This works out perfectly if they do a surprise soft-opening for CMs.

I for one was thrilled to hear of the soft open before my upcoming trip. Yes, I'd like to see the redone attraction, but mostly I'm happy because its high capacity will alleviate take some people off of the crowded sidewalks!Big Wallaby wrote:So today, I found out that they had been hoping to do a soft opening of SE for Cast. Teppan Edo is amazing. We went on Day 2 of the soft opening (Oct. 8) and they were very nervous, but they were excellent at everything they did. I was really impressed by the renovations they had done (though I had not seen it before renovations). Plus, the food was great!Switchbeam 9 wrote:I have ressies for Teppan-Edo tomorrow (formerly Mitsukoshi). This works out perfectly if they do a surprise soft-opening for CMs.
Epcot is my favorite park. I like SE because you can just sit down and rest for a little while. If you do see the new SE, please post some small details!
Gawrsh, yah-huh!

I stopped by there and spoke to a SSE CM. He said that they were planning on a CM soft opening yesterday, but it has been delayed for some reason.

Nobody remembers where the power lockout key was put way back at the beginning of the refurb? :D:Switchbeam 9 wrote:I stopped by there and spoke to a SSE CM. He said that they were planning on a CM soft opening yesterday, but it has been delayed for some reason.

Yes. They had been hoping to do a soft opening, but it didn't work out. Actually, they ran it for the big whigs, and then they had to evac the top Disney management from the ride. I understand that was kinda ugly.
