God damn illegal aliens

Post by Big Wallaby » Fri Dec 07, 2007 3:31 am

I have a friend, the one I have mentioned that Liz and I are going to rent a house with him and his wife. They were moving into the Home Suite Home where we are currently renting until we get something more permanent, so I took their daughter to Epcot and MK to get her out of the way so they would have another seat in their car, along with the side benefit of her not having to ride from Celebration to St. Cloud over and over and over.

So at 6:00 tonight, I got a call from his wife, that he had been hit by a car, 911 had been called, and they were going to take him to the hospital. The driver had driven off as though he hadn't even done anything. Knowing what it feels and sounds like when a very light deer hits the bus (and nothing goes under the wheels), the driver had to know. In the impact, the car had hit his head, ran over his foot, so the driver had to know.

The police came, filed a report, looked at the surveillance video and said it was probably a Russian illegal alien who did it, and they would probably not be able to catch him.

I took their daughter to meet them at the hospital. So much for picking up my wife and we all go to Illuminations tonight.

Well, right after I got home, I started writing here. My friend spent six hours in the hospital, plus the time I was helping them get prescriptions for pain medication.

Gotta do something about having policies that allow people like this scum free passage into our country. If you don't have respect for human life (which, even our most brutal soldiers have that) then you don't belong on this land.

Just a few variables different, and right now I would have a restless night thinking about how I needed to help bury a friend.

Not to mention what would happen to his wife and daughter.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Illegal or not. Alien or born citizen. Anyone with that little a regard for their fellow human beings deserves the maximum of the available punishments.

These hit and runs are happening more and more aften everywhere. It seems many people just don't want to take responsibility for anything. Maybe they already have a criminal background, or like you said, are illegal and fear being deported, or maybe they were just raised in an outhouse. They seem to be the rule rather than the exception these days. We have so many illegals here in Colorado and I can say without a doubt or hesitation, most of these types of crimes have been found to be caused by illegals. We had a police officer shot to death in a traffic stop and the stupid MF that did it ran of to Mexico, so he could escape prosecution. Mexico said they would only extradite him if we pulled capital punishment OFF the table, evidently they have the power to protect a murderer there, (but wanted Dog the Bounty Hunter to come back and spend time in jail for catching a rapist in their country, thus making them look like inept fools, that THEY did nothing to catch said rapist (Andrew Luster) in their country.! ) They want it both ways there. So they extradite the bastard cop killer back to Colorado and now we get to pay for his lifetime stay in prison, but wait, he may get out because they could NOT sentence him to a capital crime sentence!!!!!!! Unless he gets shanked in prison we are paying for him to have three hots and a cot everyday and the police officer is still dead and his family is left without a husband and father. It sucks!

Something DOES need to be done to put a cap on the illegal immigration to this country. I have no problem with anyone coming to better themselves here and become a contributing member of this country. LEGALLY! My grandpa did it in the early 1900's and he came here the legal way, from Poland (No Polish jokes allowed, I have heard all of em ;) ) through Ellis Island and respected and loved this country to his death. Now you have people coming from all over the earth to live here and make themselves something off our society. While there are good and bad illegals, by the fact that they came here illegally, already they committed their first crime. I know that living conditions are deplorable in some other countries and to escape persecution or a life of abject poverty they come here. What happens is they form their own little enclaves of abject poverty in cities across the country.

We have a large Russian Mafia influence here in Denver. The first townhome we bought on the east side was full of Russian Mafia families that always created huge problems in the community. When the police were called one time, the officers told the caller that even they could do nothing about the problem, it was a bigger deal and the FBI was trying to deal with it. In the meantime the regular police force were not allowed to do anything about the problem.

We also have a section of town here called Little Mexico. It got that name for a reason. None of the residents in this *neighborhood* WANT* to speak English, so they have their own markets there and everyone speaks Spanish. If you come here to live and STAY, you need to learn the language. The other problem is that the *neighborhood* looks like something out of a third world country. I can say that, becausde I HAVE BEEN down there. When I worked as an adoption counselor for the Denver Dumb Friends League, a private animal shelter, I went out on calls with our animal protective services officers. Wanna guess where most of the calls were to? Yep, Little Mexico, where we would find dogs tethered to posts in the ground in the middle of Summer with no shelter from the sun or water or food. It gets very hot and dry in the Summer here! We paid a visit to one house where NOT ONE PERSON except the 10 year old child spoke English. He learned it to go to school (to his credit) because even then Denver has a system so that Mexican children can be taught in their own language and never have to utter a word of the English language!!!!
And it looked like an extremely poor section of Mexico City, I am NOT kidding. I have seen it with my own eyes, so I know what I am talking about. No second hand information here. It was so appalling to see that in our country, filled with people from ANOTHER country who have absolutely ZERO interest in learning the language and becoming integrated in this country, These were the folks you saw on the news waving the Mexican flag during all those immigration marches. Why are they waving the flag of a country they escaped from? If they have that much personal pride and love for Mexico, let them go back there and create a life for themselves. Otherwise, they are here now and they need to understand that it is a slap in our faces for them to wave the Mexican flag and not give a shit about the flag they are NOW living under. That ain't gonna make us sensitive to their needs and requests! We have enough of our own poverty right here already, there is no need to create more.

I feel so bad for your friend Wallaby. He is left with the pain and expense of getting healthy again. AND he has NO recourse, no one to collect insurance from and to pay for what he has endured. That is despicable and heartless.

I agree something HAS to change in this country to stop at least THAT source of criminality. We have to deal with our own criminals, we do NOT need any more here. The system is already full enough. After seeing too much of it, it is the way I feel.

My best to your friend, Wallaby, I hope he is okay and I know his family and yours are shaken by this. Good vibes and prayers and HUGE Susi HUGS to all concerned! God Bless you all, be well! :grouphug:

After my trip down the west coast of Baja California Sur, I’m having trouble understanding why Mexicans are fighting to get into the UsofA. I realize what we saw may not be true for the rest of the country, but there is a huge amount of growth occurring.

Ensenada has become part of Greater San Diego. Lots of construction of hotels and second homes means construction and tourists related jobs.

Between Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, there’s not much to see except fishing villages but once you get to Cabo…

Cabo and the stretch of land up to La Paz have gone nuts! Hotels, timeshares, second homes, roads, infrastructure, development after development, line the beaches. There has to be billions of dollars and Euros being pumped into the region. All this means jobs ‘o’ plenty.

We stayed in the Cabo marina for a day. We watched the boat boys washing million dollar boats that were jammed packed into the harbor. They told us the owners might show up one or twice a year but they cleaned them once a week. They were getting about $200 per boat for about three hours work. Three boats a day ain’t chump change.

We had a chance to look at two developments up the coast from Cabo. The first one was about 3,000 acres and pretty much all sold out. The second was brand new with 4,100 acres. About fifty percent was already sold. The developer lived in a 30,000, that’s right, 30,000 sq. ft. home. We got a tour. I may be moving.

Anyway, there are huge job opportunities in Mexico. Why put yourself at risk in the Arizona desert when you can be legal, make some pretty good bucks and live with your family?

The only problem with all that, is that, I believe, 1 or 2 percent of the population (read as the rich) control over 90 percent of the money, as in developements!! And until the law in mexico changes, which it will not, forigner buyers cannot own property within a few miles of ANY coastline! they can lease the land!!

One of the bigger protests here in San Diego, was a BUNCH or retired people bought really nice homes on the beach in ensanada. Then, after the Homes are finished, Up pops the "real" landowner, who then files in a Mexico court that they are all trespassing! Judge evicts them, and the landowners, you guessed it, move into the houses, and rent out the others! That and other problems abound, not even mentioning corruption of public officals!

I'm not discussing the legalities of free hold vs. lease hold. The properties are being sold and buildings are going up. The developers wouldn't build if they didn't have a reasonable expectation of a return on their investment. Buyers wouldn't buy unless they had a reasonable expectation of retaining their investment. There are no problems; just opportunities.

I am talking about the mushrooming growth in jobs for the Mexicans in Mexico. Somebody has to build the stuff, somebody has to run stores, sell gas, cook and serve food, maintain boats, maintain cars, etc. Why move to El Norte when the jobs are local?
