Anyone else sick of the guests who are so rude?? Why don't people have manners??
It drives me NUTS when a person comes up to my register and I smile brightly at them and comment cheerfully, "Hi! Are you all having fun today?" or something along those lines....and they just blankly look at me and don't say a word. And these are guests that I KNOW speak english. Or the ones who come up to the register while they're having some lame personal conversation on their cell phone, completely ignoring me the whole time yet expecting me to be friendly and prompt in my dealings with them when they're through!
I'm just so sick of people like that. ANYWHERE I go. Even when I'm not at work. I can't stand people who are rude or unfriendly like that. I want to tell them, "It doesn't take a whole lot to at least FAKE A SMILE to someone if you need to, people!"
Anyone else?

Re: Anyone else?
Rude people suck. They're not just rude to castmembers, they're rude to anyone in their 10 foot radius of evilness. Sadly I've been in their radius of evilness...and didn't know it (nor did I know the reason they were being so rude to me). They suck. Yup!
After so many years of living in California, I have decided that you have to have a certain level of a**holeness to you in order to obtain citizenship. Of course, you also need to pick on others less fortunate than you, yell at immigrants (or be an immigrant), and demand that your opinion be heard no matter how stupid and pointless it is. You guys just get the worst of it.

I really hate the ones that come up on cell phones... it's a pain. Especially when they stand there for 5 minutes, they can't order cuz they're too busy talking, but they REFUSE to move out of the way, so they just stand there and hold up the line. I'm actually a really nice person, most the time, and can understand being on the phone and all, but at least have the decency to either tell that person to hold on, or step to the side and let me help the guest behind you while you finish your conversation...
God must love stupid people. He made so many of them.

This is why I had to leave California, despite being born there -- insufficient a**holyness.windmillguy wrote:After so many years of living in California, I have decided that you have to have a certain level of a**holeness to you in order to obtain citizenship.
At first, I was exiled to Tennessee, where I had to larn me a hole nue langwich so as to talk to folk. My accent wasn't good enough. When I asked how long before folks would stop calling me a damnyankee, I was told, "Two, maybe three generations."
Now in Florida, I fit in -- anyone speaking like a native is suspect here. Of course, the drivers are just as bad as in California, only because the traffic isn't so thick, they can be bad drivers at a higher speed.
Turns out there are only three speeds on Florida roads: The speed limit, which only I seem to drive; 1/4 the speed limit, driven by seniors and lost tourists, both prone to sudden left turns from the right lane; and 4 times the speed limit, driven by Cast Members to and from work.
Some days, the 6mph collisions in California look pretty good to me.

I agree with the first two, but I only drive 4 times the speed limit when I'm leaving the Studios when the parking lot is empty ;) and it's closer to 3 times. Well I guess I'll agree with the last one too then :)
