Vicky's not dead, but her computer is

Post by Cranbiz » Thu Nov 29, 2007 4:26 pm

Vicky (Vixen101485) Has asked me to let y'all know that she will be away for a while. Seems her PC took a dump and is going to the shop for an unknown period of time.

Those of you who are working on the pirate bandana's for her, PM me and I'll give you her phone#.

I've got five pirate bandanas for her, but that's not enough--she needs a dozen. Anyone else got some they can send? If not I'll hit Property Control on Monday.

Only $500 to get in? That's not a bad price at all!

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

This was a real eye opener for me. I sail on the cheap. Most of the boats had over $50,000 just in electronics on the bridge. The best part is many of the owners didn't know how to use most of it. They're just one-up-man-ship toys.

I spent a lot of time reading the manuals and tweaking the stuff on the boat I crewed on. By the end of the cruise I had it all tuned for maximum smoke.

It's not good to let the magic smoke out of the box. Once that happens, thisng don't seem to work anymore.

Usually the magic smoke comes from the power supply, in that case, it's an easy fix :)
