(BTW, if anyone official from Disney is reading this, by "Jack Sparrow" I meant a server whose look, mannerisms and name were nothing at all like your copyrighted character. Really. Nothing to see here, just move along.)

Magic Time Machine

Post by Cheshire Figment » Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:56 pm

Magic Time Machine is a small chain of restaurants in Texas. I know of one on the San Antonio North Loop and I think there may also be one in Dallas. Last time I was there the food was good and the service was interesting. (As in 50's Prime Time Cafe interesting, but different.)

From when I worked in DC any time we had someone going to SA on business I told them they had to go to that restaurant, but would not tell them why.

Thanks Chessie. Kind of like a theme restaurant with faux celebrity servers??

I was just in Kerville the day before and the day after Thanksgiving. Our company owns the Taco Bell there and they needed some management help those two days.
Haven't been to the Magic Time machine since I was a kid. Sad really..The San Antonio one is real close to our house too.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Did you hit the Walmart? We did, daily, only because it was the only thing going on in town... We love to eat at Mamacita's there. They also have one in San Antonio and two in Houston I think.

Magic Time Machine is a fun place, food is decent too.
