Subject: Is that the real wind?
I was working a stadium vending cart under the Golden Gate Bridge
last night and it was very windy and cold.. A lady comes up to me and
asks me if the wind is real! She asked "Is that wind real or is it
supposed to be like the winds of San Francisco?" I just looked at her
and said "nooo... it's real..." and then she got this extremely
embarrased look on her face and left :) Yep, we make our own wind
here at the Disneyland Resort....
Is that the real wind?

Of course you do. And here at WDW, we make our own rain so we can
sell more ponchos. Never mind all the money we lose when all those
people leave the park early because of the rain. Or the ones that
don't come at all when it starts raining early in the day. Nope, we
just want to sell more ponchos. Especially since we ran out of
the "100 Yrs of Magic" ones and now don't even have adult ponchos
with Mickey at all. There are actually adults that won't buy a
poncho no matter how hard it's raining just because it doesn't have
MM on it.
But I admit that we do wait until it's Winter and then make it cold
at night (cold enough anyway) so that people go scrambling for
sweatshirts and gloves. Cause ya know....it never gets chilly much
less outright cold here in FL. And certainly not when the sun goes
down.

Subject: RE Real wind
Hi All
A WDW CM friend who formerly worked at Guest services
at Universal Studios, Florida was telling me a story
about a guest in U.S. who on a rainy day wanted her
money back because Universal did not have "the machine
like Disney had" to keep the rain away, "because it
never rains in the Magic Kingdom"
Same CM different guest - wanted their admission cost
back because Universal Did not have the "Atmospheric
device, which cooled off the Park like Disney had"
PS - Did You Know that since mostly laid of imagineers
designed and built Universal Studios, Islands of
Adventures, there are over 100 hidden Mickey's in the
Islands of Adventures park?

Ha, ha, ha, ha....
I guess we really do make it rain, seeing as how we have the machine
to keep the rain away.
And just my luck, I guess the "atmospheric machine" must be broken
cause it was hot and humid as usual today. Come to think of
it....it's been broken for a long time now.
