There is plenty of grassy area along both sides of that walkway. So they can't be trapped. But, like SGs, they know most of us give the right-of-way to them and so they feel no need to get out of the way until they feel like it.

I'm convinced they have snuck over to the campfire to watch the "cute animal" movies and are convinced they are all movie stars. Thus when someone comes along they will hold up traffic until they are sure that they have posed for enough photos (and given enough autographs).

(New business idea) Anyone know how to make "mirrored shades" for celebrity deer?

(new Enquirer headline) Bambi seen club hopping with Brittany and Lindsay in a wild night at PI!

Can't see it. I mean, Britney and Lindsay at PI. Or anywhere at Disney World, for that matter.

Please, no.

True, but when you don't have pockets it's hard for Bambi to get plane tickets to Hollywood. So the "wild club hopping" would have to happen in the WDW area. Besides Bambi would get along real well with those girls. He doesn't wear underwear either. :D:

One driver in the Woods the other day was telling me about the time someone asked if the deer were Audio Animatronic. He looked over at the deer who, at the moment, were copulating, and answered that they must be.

psst...glad it was not more serious
Me too! I love Bambi and Thumper and Flower and all the little furry animals, why do you keep hurting them, Big Wallaby *sniff* *sniff* *sob* *bawl* crying with fervor now....... ;) I am glad the deer was okay. It probably did not hurt your bus any.

I hit a deer one time on my way to work when I lived up in the sticks and felt horrified. The deer scrambled awy after getting nicked by the right front tire. By the time I got down the hill into town, I had NO brakes, His little hoofy had sliced my brake line and I lost all my fluid on the drive down. There were only a couple stoplights in town, but still a stop light IS a STOP light. I coasted slowly and made it to work. Right after work went straight to the brake shop and had the car repaired, That was scary. But the deer was okay and my car was okay and my wallet was emptied by the autoshop and it all worked out. I 'm still here! Could have been a LOT worse with no brakes down hill into a small town of 4000 with 2 stoplights and people walking across the main street which is actually Highway 101 in California. We always identified our town as the second stoplight on Highway 101 north of San Francisco :D: , Waaaaaaaay north of San Francisco, about 150 miles north, up in the redwoods. Loved that town and the radio job there! Main Street IS the Highway 101! :D: You could walk one end of the town to the other in about 5-10 minutes dependin' on how fast you were walkin'. I was in charge of the radio station there, Program Director, Music Director and morning *drive* Dee Jay! LOL! We had NO morning drive. It was a town of 4000 people, what kind of traffic were we gonna have? BUT, we did have a recording of a helicopter and I would punch up that cart and the owner would get on a two way radio on his way into town, and I would volume him up on the air over the sound of the helicopter and he would *do* a traffic report. :hysteria: Not unlike Les Nessman, except we were not thumping our chests to get the sound effects of a helicopter. We had that on tape! LOLOLOL!!!!!!! The big thing of the day was when I would announce the school lunch menu for the day at the middle school and high scholl! HAHAHAHA!!!! :hysteria: It WAS a small town. I loved the cornball atmosphere of it. It was fun. We used to do *remotes* from the 4th of July Parade with 3 people with two way radios and a board operator back in the studio. I did a *remote* broadcast from a house fire a couple blocks down which I walked to and reported on the progress of the fire dept and how the fire was being quashed! I look back on those days and just crack up! :hysteria:
This has been a commercial break!

Back to Bambi and Thumper...and the Wallaby that runs them down ;) J/K Big Wall!

You obviously did not put these on your resume before your transfer request. :D:

You do know that striking Bambi is considered a signal 4. Striking an armadillo is not though.

You should get one of those magnetic tails that you can put on a car, that looks like you "hit" something and it is sticking out of the grill!!!

We know that Disney does not pay enough but really do you have to use company property to mow down your dinner?

That is an excellent site related to WDW animals.
