Forgive the pitch, but when you give me an opening like this... :o: :)

Too late! The "next CD" just came out!!! Seriously, we just got them on Tuesday, they're not even listed on the VM website yet. They should be available online and in Barnes & Nobles soon -- at least Dallas-area stores, maybe more.

I may be a bit biased, but this is one awesome Christmas CD. It has a great mix of songs, lots of different styles. It's a mix of secular and spiritual carols, some a capella, one with full orchestra, one with just acoustic guitar. A couple of the tracks feature the two champion quartets that have come out of the chorus. And one song is sung in the Yoruba dialect of west Africa! Hopefully there'll be some cuts from the CD available for listening on our website soon.

And yes, I am on the CD! I qualified in time to make the last recording session. Again, sorry for this, but this is almost as good for me as having my name up in lights on Broadway. I'm probably enjoying this way too much, but this is just too cool for me:

Don't apologize for having a good time (when it's not even at the expense of others, at least)... We're all proud of you and you worked really hard for this! If you can't enjoy this, who has a right to enjoy anything? Congratulations on setting a goal and attaining it. I bet the rewards feel great, just as they should! :)

That is very cool, Wombat.

I always wondered when I'd be able to use this:

:congrats:     :chorus: :choir:

I'll record you all when you make the next CD. It'll be done with one microphone and each member at a time in the booth. Should be interesting!

Why do I suddenly hear a discussion of how to make a giga-deca-phonic (10 billion discrete channels) mp3 recording? :D:

Actually, that is more work than I care to do. But I appreciate the thought!
