I have heard that bus drivers can't work in other areas due to the differences in contracts. Can anyone either confirm or deny this?

Well I know that face characters cannot pick up hours anyplace else, for obvious reasons. I work hours under two differnt unions though so it would seem odd that ya'll can't.

I can confirm it. I've heard from managers, trainers and coordinators in buses and monorails that that is the case. Being one to come to Disney to be a Cast Member, that being all I cared about, one of the first things I enquired about was trying out other jobs. Teamsters won't allow it. They make sure it's in the contract. Fine.

As do parts of HM, ToT, Star Tours, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Honey I Shrunk the Bus, Test Track, Maelstrom and Illuminations.

Yesterday, I went into Casting and was told that I would know in two weeks whether my transfer went through.

Hi BW - CONGRATULATIONS!! We'll be at AK on the 10th of Dec and will be dashing to KS at early entry. I hope they'll let us hold at the loading dock for our favorite ex-Bus Driver.
Are you going to keep your Big Wallaby name? It's probably more appropriate now than ever before, even if there are no Kangas or Roos out on Safari.
