Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
Oh Susi, I hope your Tawny is okay. I lot my old Misha to urinary tract problems a few years ago. He had crystals in his urine that would block the urethra and made peeing painful. He had a bad episode the night before we went on vacation and he peed on my foot so I rushed him to the vet. My house sitter was going to pick him up the next day and bring him home if he was okay, but the vet called and said he was in really bad shape and his heart couldn't take the strain and they really said they thought he should be put down rather than put him through more sedation and clearing of urethra. So I made that painful decision while on vacation and cried and cried.
Then a few months later my other kitty Tiffany developed some major health problems and had to be put down. I love my kitties so that was sad, too.
I have 2 young cats now, both rescued, so hopefully it will be many years before they develop any health problems.
I'm feelin' for you and wishing Tawny well.

Susi, any news?
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Beyoootiful home, Susislicker! Love the stone and rockwork, and I really want that blue sink in the guest(?) bath. Oh yeah, and the waterfall.
I'd love a home like that on 5 acres - too bad you have neighbors so close.
I've got the acreage, now I just need the house.
When you move to Florida you will miss the mountains and rocks, I guarantee it. They don't have rocks in Florida (except in WDW and maybe some coquina rock near the coast).
I miss my Oregon mountains, boulders and tall fir trees. :(
My mom lives on 7 acres and there's an old stone foundation on her property from a pioneer homestead that was burned down by Indians (or so the story goes). I wish I could hire a freight car to haul some of those rocks down here so I could create a nice rock garden.

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
At work today I had to take a ten question true/false quiz on the computer. It was very stupid and nearly every question was a trick question. One of the questions mentioned heelies but not in a context one normally expects.
"The FAST part of fast, friendly checkout includes being prepared with proper change and a pair of 'heelies'."
Naturally the answer was "false" even though the first part is true. Nearly all of the questions were like that. I think the idea of the test was to guage your answers to the more normal questions, though all counted towards your score. All but one of the questions were false.
Below the test but before the submit button was one last question, "Was this test a good use of your time? Yes/No" The answer didn't count toward the score. I naturally answered "No" as I have much more important things to do than take some stupid quiz that doesn't teach me anything or help me do my job better.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
