I can't wait to see someone do a Disney show.

That was good. I needed something to laugh about and that did it. Thanks. That would be cool if there was a Disney themed one. HMMM..wonder if the Mouse would make them pay to do it?

That looks like something I would do. Now, if I could just get the dimmers and control system. I used to use one that's made in Hollywood, CA for a magic show. If only I could have taken the DMX box with me...

That is something I would have done back in MA. Just not at professionally done.

After all, I once had a sheep in fire boots on my front lawn and another time a deer run over by a tractor.

There is a guy here in Denver that does a display every year with millions of lights and it is all timed to the music of, I think Mannheim Steamroller, I could be wrong about the music. He got hired by all the local shopping malls to do their displays because the mall Managers saw it and loved what he did. He now is in business and still does his house. It is amazing. Like a professional display somewhere in a town center or someplace. Not at all what you would expect on a residence. I will see if I can find it on youtube. I would imagine someone posted it there. It is pretty fantasmical! :D:

Here is the link I talked about earlier.

It is a very large house and yard where the lights are synchronized to Reflections of Earth. I think a lot of work went into this.

Well the local sporting goods store might supply decoy or practice deer (life size, styrofoam deer) that you could use to recreate the video "Bambi vs Godzilla". If you don't remember the original short subject, here it is:

OH MY GOD I HAVE DISCOVERED THE BEST THING That is in the form of a very cool "I really really really really want one " electronic doodad that does the light shows for you. All you have to do is plug in the cords to your lights and TAH DAH! Instant lite show for dummies. Both Lowes and Kmart sell them for only $99 dollars. ***WHINES...I want one.
They have a little demo thing set up on the display to show you how the different functions work. You can even change the songs and volume on the display if you want. I couldnt get Donnie away from it because one of the genres of music to choose from is Trans Siberian Orchestra and of course "Wizards of Winter" is his fav. Not sure how many songs on each setting since I couldnt get near the thing...ahem..Donnie.

I have decided ,with Donnies suggestion, to do Flamingos. ---- Lots of them, with little santa hats. OOOO...I could even put some big blow up dinosaurs out there (if I can find one) I will just go for the tackiest house on the block title (now where do they sell a one armed santa humping a reindeer?) The neighbors across from me cant stand it that we go all out for Halloween. We live in a court yard where the only thing separating our yards is 2 very narrow sidewalks and tiny strip of grass--check out the halloween shots for an idea how small the yards are. The woman in particular, never says anything right out but I get the little comments like "wow that is a lot of stuff" not said with much enthusiasm. You can tell when people are being snarky.

Well I am off to hunt flamingos on the internet since it is winter and all the stores almost have their easter stuff ready to go. If I cant find some cheap ones I will make them just to annoy her. Of course they will just suddenly appear during the nite...
allllllllllllllllllll lots of them....HUUUHHHHAAAHHHA
