Now that's a good find, Shorty.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Whoa, hold on there a second. Even if you can't spiel, you're still a member of the show, even if your job is to just be seen and not heard. You may not consider yourself a CM, but we still do :p:Big Wallaby wrote: note: as a bus driver, I have now stopped using the term Cast Member to describe myself until I move :(
Yes, really nice find! I need to draft a letter. Find one for the head of dining? I need to give him a piece of my mind too, while there is still something left :D:Shorty82 wrote:From my research I found out that the Director of WDW Transportation is Doug Lord. I can't find any direct contact information for him but letters addressed to him at the first address should make it to him.
I assume that letters addressed like this will make it to him:
Doug Lord
Director of Transportation
P.O. Box 10000
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Re: MiMs
Feel free to pass them on. I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to writing letters. I owe letters to relatives that have been pending for a decade or so. But as you saw, when the moment strikes me I can be a bit verbose. Then the moment is gone. But when I write something like that I fully expect that it may make its way to those who really need to read it. So if you feel that it could make a difference in any way. please feel free to pass a copy along.Big Wallaby wrote: Randy, I would love to have you pass on your comments that you made here to the appropriate people. It's too bad you can't do a general letter to the stockholders.

Thing is, they'll listen much better if it's coming from you than from me. And about not being a Cast Member, I somewhat take that back. I am a Cast Member, just not in a Cast Member role.

Re: MiMs
I'm going to write one of those letters or emails, based on our experience on the buses last month. The first time I heard the MiMs recording I just rolled my eyeballs and listened to the whole spiel. On the next bus we boarded, there was so much noise from everyone talking that you couldn't hear a word that was being announced. Not one word! So what good does that do? At least with a real person talking, they could get your attention first before making announcements.
Every time we hopped on a bus I would greet the driver with a cheery "Good morning" or "Hello Bus Driver." Only once did I get a friendly greeting or even a smile in return. Buses are no fun anymore. :(

Re: MiMs
I'd reccomend writing a paper letter as they tend to have more of an impact than an email.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
