That's just weird. Is it from any Whataburger, or just the one?

Any. There's something about the way they cook them or something that does that to us. For some reason their burgers give me an upset stomach, I've even vomited from them before. I've never had a burger do this to me before and it has happened a couple of times spaced out before I finally quit eating them at all.

This really happened, but I guess I was perceived as a SG : In October we went to LeCellier for our 2:30 lunch ADR I had made at 180 days out. There were 7 in our party and there was no record of our ADR!! I had gone to concierge when we checked into our resort, got a printout, and all my ressies were intact just as I had made them at 180 days out (I am a compulsive planner) and LeCellier was tops on my list as it is a favorite of ours.

I did not think to carry my ADRs with me when we went to Epcot, but I will certainly do so from now on! That is the first time this ever happened to us. I must have looked awfully sad and pitiful, because the CM talked to the manager and gave us a table, we just had to wait an extra 45 minutes to be seated. The most puzzling part occurred when the CM/hostess asked me if she should cancel my ADR for the following evening. Someone with my name had a 6:30 ADR for the very next day. I told her to do whatever she had to, because I would be at MGM the next day.

I double checked my ADR printout list when we returned to the resort, and my ADR was there just as I had made it at 180 days out. The only thing I can figure is that my ADR was cancelled when the person with my same name made an ADR for the next day for 6:30. I hope that is not the case, because if they start cancelling ADRs this way a lot of mistakes will be made. With thousands of people at WDW on any given day, there are bound to be several with the same name making ADRs for the same places.

I know I must have appeared to be a SG doing SGTs when I insisted my ADR was there and they could not find it in the computer.

It's a franchise deal, so you need to find someone local to buy in. Full details at the web site: http://www.earlofsandwichusa.com/

Best burgers on property are at the Sand Trap Bar and Grill at the Eagle Pines & Osprey Ridge Golf Club. Cheeseburgers there are made with Jarlsburg!

But go soon, it's closing next year to make way for the Four Seasons complex.

I had to drive back there from San Diego, and I plugged all the friendly's locations near my route into my GPS!! A LOT of goood meal stops!!!
Mmmmm.... Friendly's.... :)
Great, now I'm going to have to go there for lunch tomorrow on my day off.... ;)

There's also a chain called Red Robin that has some decent (and interesting) burgers. The only one here in Massachusetts is about 3 miles from my apartment. It's based out of Washington state, and appears to mostly be a West Coast chain, though they're sprinkled around the country. (Their webite says 350 locations) Looks like Florida just got their first location, down in Fort Meyers.

If you get a chance at Red Robin, try their grown up strawberry lemonade.

And they have tons of different burgers to choose from... when I used to go in there, it would take me half an hour to decide what burger to get.

Guess I'll have to go to Fort Meyers one of these days.

Red Robin is good, the one with the fried egg on it. We finally got one built in Flower Mound. Endless baskets of steak fries!

*sigh*
