New ECVs with keys that turn? How lame! That probably means no more red keys :( . Well there still has to be a way to disengage the brake on the back. Then you could push the SG into a dark corner and leave them there. I'd like to see them push the damn thing back and prove they didn't need the ECV in the first place.
The added bonus of taking the key away is that they technically have to return the key to get the deposit back. Unfortunately with all the spineless leads and managers at the Stroller Shop, I never saw a lead keep a deposit if a SG made enough fuss about it.

As sweet as it would be to be poetic in your justice, on this one I would be much more apt to get Orange County involved, have her arrested, get her information for later, get pictures of your toes a couple days later, medical treatment, and a couple hundred K for pain and suffering, with Disney banning her just for added effect. :2fingers:
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

While I'm flattered that you would name a retaliation for me, that's really not what I consider an all-purpose response.
Backpack man spilled half my coffee, so I gave him the rest of it. (For newbies, I gave it by pouring it into his backpack.)
Now if the ECV woman attacked my feet, I'd make her walk. It would probably bother her a lot more than a wet backpack, and would be far more just.
It's all about justice and balancing the karma, not exacting cruel revenge.
... That's just a fringe benefit.

I see nothing wrong with taking this lady's one-week vacation and extending it to at least a full month. Although, this new resort doesn't come with Extra Magic Hours... wait, it does... just not for
her.

So what would have been a Zazu response ?

My first thought about the "neutral" lever ran along these lines. Neutral, then a long steeply slope, ending in the castle moat if possible. Or possibly guide the ECV towards Main St where it can happen to get one rear wheel going over the curb and getting hung up. At several hundred pounds of machinery it would be difficult to make it move anwhere when one rear wheel is off the ground and the rear of the vehicle is supported by the gear box between the wheels on the curb edge.
Personally if I was one (or with one) of the people injured by this inconciderate driver I would have made damn sure the perpetrator was detained or at least identified for the resulting assault charge and law suit for medical costs (and I would have made sure there were MANY of those). And since it sounded like there were several such injuries Each case would be an additional assault charge and a seperate damage recovery.
I am suprized that there isn't (apparently) some statement in the lease agreement that cautions the leaser of consequences of reckless driving or responsabilities for injuries. Even if you rent a bicycle at FtW you have to sign a lease with such resumption of responsabilities. The potential for injury to bystanders is MUCH less for a 50 lb bike than a 300 lb ECV. I could understand if an inadvertant accident happened, but leaving a wake of injuries is grounds for reckless driving. IMHO
