Candlelight at DL is on Dec 1 and 2, with performances at 530 and 8pm each night.. tickets go on sale ONLY on the web beginning at 10am on Nov 19th at http://www.disneyland.com/candlelight . Prices start at $75 and include DINNER, with a free reserved seat for the candlelight performance. AP holders ONLY will be able to reserve at the Napa Rose, but that price is $125..
Does anyone doubt I do ticketing for a living at the DLR??? :D:
BTW, for those of you CM's that want to do the Holiday Tour before it opens to the public on Nov 16, call 8432-2299 ( I think, I'll check for sure in the am) and schedule it.. they are doing the cast previews beginning the 12th..
At least I have one good thing to look forward to tomorrow--NO MORE Mickey's Halloween Treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH.. the AP's that *itched and moaned because they are AP's and we should have held tickets for them to purchase day of event was getting on my LAST nerve!! Oh, but I had a winner the other day--MHT was SOLD OUT, to the point where they didn't even have tickets for Guest Recovery. This VIP Concierge from AMEX called to try and suck up and get tickets for his TITANIUM (you know the card--it's black and weighs a good 1/2 pound!!) client who was staying at the Grand Californian and THOUGHT her hotel reservation included MHT tickets... too bad, so sad, sucks to be her.. even after I told him the nicest possible way that we didn't have any tickets to sell her, even at the Day of price, he wanted to speak to my lead.. and she proceded to tell him the same thing I did and hung up on him!!!! Gotta love my Leads!!!!

The Holiday Tour is so much fun....We are going to try to get ressies for it for our Christmas trip. We did last yr and it was great, getting a real chair to watch the parade, getting to walk on Haunted mansion and Small World, cocoa and a gingerbread cookie and a piece of fudge, YUM!!!!! We are gonna shoot for around the 23rd, 24th and our phone is ready to call that number as soon as the place opens to get that ressie. We have to schedule 30 days out, NO sooner! I know it fills up fast.
It is going to be so much fun at DL at Christmas this yr. And I'm NOT gonna get sick this year, I'm NOT gonna get sick this year...I will be healthy and rosy cheeked for the week! :D:

When I was teaching I did a LOT of traveling. So much so that I averaged 100,000 miles a year. Talk about butt calluses! American Air gave me a platinum card. One of the benefits was upgrades to first class.pattimelt wrote:This VIP Concierge from AMEX called to try and suck up and get tickets for his TITANIUM (you know the card--it's black and weighs a good 1/2 pound!!) client who was staying at the Grand Californian and THOUGHT her hotel reservation included MHT tickets... too bad, so sad, sucks to be her.. even after I told him the nicest possible way that we didn't have any tickets to sell her, even at the Day of price, he wanted to speak to my lead.. and she proceded to tell him the same thing I did and hung up on him!!!! I saw other platinum card holders walk up to gate agents and demand upgrades. When they were told first class was sold out they'd rant and rave so I decided to always try a different tack. I'd go up, ask if upgrades were available and none were, reply, "Total bummer, thanks for trying." That usually got a look of surprise.
Then I'd say, "Do you know the difference between a 727 and a platinum card holder?" They wouldn't.
"When a 727 gets to the gate it stops whining."
That usually got a good laugh and occasionally a second look at seat availibility. In some instances I got upgraded. My butt calluses were very thankful.

I'm on the top row, third from the right. I'm also in a few other pics on the photo pages, but that's the main one.

Heh. Mine's mostly gray now, so it doesn't show up much unless I've darkened it for a show, like in my avatar pic at left.susislicker wrote:I WAS trying to find out which hairy face was yours! LOL! There are many beards and moustaches in that group! :D:
