Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Hey there was a Darph sighting at Plaza Inn tonight...


I am supposed to keep (and lost dagnabbit) a toothpick I was supposed to give to Mainstreeter... so here's a virtual Toothpick ----------------- You know what that means Mainstreeter....
One of the managers took a pic of me and Darph too... So Darph'll post it somewhere.

stop that nonsense as you know that the first person he would visit is me. I will keep waiting for the pitter patter of Darph feet.

Next week I will be back to normal when my damned birthday is over. I HATE BIRTHDAYS as they are a curse from on high to make people pay for their evil ways. Not had a good one in 15 years probably.

Fall has finally arrived in Dallas! We've had highs in the 80's and low 90's for weeks now, but after this morning's cold front, it won't get out of the 50's all week!!!!

I love cold weather! I tolerate the summer for days like today!! :D:

Woo! Usually this happens during the State Fair, and usually when I am there wearing shorts and a t-shirt. We were down in Houston at the Texas Ren Fest and came home to this wonderful surprise of cooler weather! Although traffic was teh suck this morning...

Speaking of the Texas State Fair, did you know that not only was it where the corn dog was invented (Fletchers, the original!) but you can also get a Dole Whip there! We usually get corn dog, ice cold root beer (no ice in the cup!) and a dole whip, all three stands are close proximity to each other. Actually, the root beer and Dole Whip stand are right next to each other. Just outside the entrance to the automobile building where the car show is.
