Glad you made it through that, Susie. The last time I had a tooth pulled, they put me under and allowed my mom to stay in the operating area until I was out. She and the doctor tell me I had a whole conversation with her, that the doctor told me I would forget and I guess I said I would remember. It's scary with the general anesthesia that I could do so much and not remember it. Yes, I know alcohol can cause the same thing, but I've never been that drunk to have that happen. Don't care to have it happen again, actually.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Ahhh, now to settle down for a nice rant.
My poor love of mine has been setting up a haunted maze in our backyard since October began. Now thanks to the hurricane like winds, it has fallen over.
I for one am hoping we can get it all squared away by the time this weekend comes so we can do a test run and scare the local neighbors. I want to give back to my community and let them share some screams with us.

But now I am tired. I have been doing nothing but focus on Halloween so much that I haven't even paid attention to something else just as important. My wedding, which is next year on October 4th. I keep telling myself not to worry, it will all work out.
By nature, I am not a patient woman and I get anxious. Then I bite my nails and overeat, and blah blah blah. Not very smart.
I do love my job even when people are idiots. Tonite though, I just want to go home and be with my spooky lush. :giggles:
Someone please make this wind go away. It's giving me a headache and a bout of depression that I can't shake. GRRRR :(

I agree LDC, PLEASE someone make this wind go away, there are fires surrounding us, people we know are being evacuated, there will be a billion respiratory complaints at the clinic tomorrow,and the kids will have to stay home tomorrow from school :mad:
