Do not spoil the fun with a sticker. Get a badge that is not CM and wear it. It is fun to do though I never forked over the dough for one. You might even find a custom made one but I doubt it.

Theme Park Where thank you as that is what I thought but times change and I am on the west coast. A pin trader had a mother in security and my friend was a CM so I thought that was the answer but I am usually wrong.

This is just too cute! I love it! In fact, oddly enuff, I was just at eBay buying some Donald Duck pins...I want to make a framed Donald sheet with a pic that I had taken at DL of Donald Duck and I, add some pins and Donald scrap pieces for my dad. He does an amazing Donald Duck! Always talked to us like that when we were kids. That hits the soft daddy spot in my heart! I love eBay for Disney memorabilia. I collect pins and other memorabilia! There are Disney things in every room in my house! We LOVE Disney! I am rather fond of Bambi and The Little Mermaid and of course Mickey and Minnie! Hubby likes POTC and Pooh! :D:

*cues up X-files episode where the guy wears a "badge" with a big X on it, and projects the badge to be an FBI badge so he can get through the entrance of the FBI building.

While we're on the topic of inpersonating CMs (sort of), it reminded me of this stunt that took place at APEC in Australia a few months ago. A popular Australian television show "The Chasers" had a bit of fun with this...pretending to be APEC security in this first clip:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=GclCE0cLA-o& ... %20footage

And their main stunt, getting their fake motorcade within meters of President Bush's hotel. Excuse the political slamming...but enjoy the humor...

5th day on the job I witnessed some guy put on a name tag and walk backstage... he didn't notice the security CM behind him eying him up suspiciously (the guest was standing near a backstage entrance for a couple minutes looking around. I guess that was enough for the security CM to keep an eye on him.) The guy dashes back stage while he thinks no one is looking... second later Security CM follows him... never saw the guy again lol. Though I think they had a new doll at small world.... :P I really wish I could have followed the security guy. The dude was definitely not a CM, I mean what CM puts on their name tag before going backstage in plainclothes? that and he had a full beard :p:

and off topic about backstage stuff... it always throws me off when they are seating fantasmic dinner package people... or whoever they are that get sat by going backstage. Especially since there are no CMs in site past the gate... Its usually I am leaving the park and there are all these kids running around... I just wonder if I spent too much time in the sun.

back to op - i heard a while back that Disney had the cooperation of EBAY in finding who is selling such things as fast passes and hopper tickets. ALso I am guessing if Disney asks, EBAY will remove the listing.

Yeah, those are dinner package folks running around back there. They go in by Oscar's gate and up the long and winding hill. Is it just me, or does that hill get steeper every day?! Fant! has a CM down by Oscar's and another up by the theater, but the guests are sort of on their own in between.

Heh. I did that package on my first trip with kids. It never dawned on us to depart from the yellow stripe. (Thanks for the idea! :D: ) It was kind of a kick being backstage -- I mean, we even commented that we could see dumpsters! Where else can a guest see dumpsters at a Disney park??

That's meant to be a rhetorical question. Please don't answer it.

Magic Kingdom at a really busy time during a parade. You get redirected out back of Main St and pass by MO-7. You really get to see a lot! But you know, It looks like the back of a strip mall.

Oh, sorry, I missed the don't answer part. :p:

Well- I wish Disney would complain! At first there were the 'secret' auctions where 'you are bidding on an envelope... anything inside is a gift', but now they are not even trying to hide! I hate to think that my family will be at WDW next week ( :D: :D: ) following the rules... and some jerk with an extra 400.00 gets to walk on every ride with an expired fastpass! If people are selling for scrapping, which some are, I guess I understand that. (But why waste one in the first place?) I hope CMs are on to this and start checking a little better! I think someone said the new machines will help. I hope. People are even selling some kind of unlimited fastpass they got as part of YOMD! This is so wrong! You get a special dream- and use it, then try to profit!! Another example of people not getting 'it'. :(

Speaking of YOMD- Do dreams happen at night? Most 'Dream Team" things I've read/heard happen to families early in the morning. Do we have to do Extra hours in the morning to have a shot at being chosen for something? We aren't morning people!! We stay in the parks 'til close and usually get to the parks by 10am. BUT I would definately change a few things if I thought I could better my chances to have a 'Dream Come True'!! :)

As far as I know, Dream Team stuff happens all day. It's "random" or at least it's done by a group that gets a specific gift to give to someone at a specified location at a specified time. No one but them knows what, where, who, or when.

BRWombat, you can't see the dumpsters anymore. They finally put a door up over them that we close just before we start letting Dinner Package people back there. You still see the backstage area of Beauty and the Beast and the stroller area, but pretty much everything else is now behind a wall of some kind.
