I don't generally follow the NFL, but I do have to say it was really sad to watch the Seahawks (finally!) make it to the Super Bowl to have it called so poorly. Should they have won the game? I don't know... but I do know they weren't given a fair shake.

Oh, when Liz and I were coming home from our honeymoon, we were flying through Houston (what a gawd-awful airport) when I looked up and saw that all the TVs in the place were on one event, a football game. I thought it was rather strange that all the TVs were on the same thing like that, but hey, whatever. Then, on the plane they kept us informed on "the game" and how it was going. A flight attendant said something to me and I gave some clueless answer, he had to have thought I was an idiot to not know what game it was. Come to find out later, we were taking off during the halftime show, and most likely, as I was looking at this giant sports stadium off in the distance, had I had a very high-powered set of binoculars, I would have seen quite a show...
