At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Re: Caption contest
In order to provide the absolute best communications for their CMs and guests Disney decided to install mobile cell towers on the Monorails. They ordered a demo system that was to have had a mini tower that would blend in with the monorail. Unfortunately, the order got mixed up with one for the Clickity Schnar Snar room in the Surfer's Hall of Fame.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

"And this weeks Darwin Award goes to",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Having watched "Teen Wolf" one too many times, disaster loomed ahead.

Re: Caption contest
"Please stand clear of the flying wombat!" Lots of very funny entries in the Caption Contest this week, but ktulu’s take on the usual “Please stand clear of the doors / Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas" Walt Disney World monorail announcement was just perfect! (Now I want to have a t-shirt made that says "El Wombat Volar"!) Congratulations, ktulu! You win a brand new PassPorter Walt Disney World 2014!

I normally don’t name a Second Place, but man, this entry by Bill Carleton cracked me up and almost won the prize: "It's called a wombat. We haven't had problems with pigeons pooping on the monorail since we installed it." Great one, Bill!
Other Honorable Mentions: Jack B. Westbrook: "Never mind how I got up here; notice I'm so light the roof is still intact."; David Wilmoth: "Here's Brad making memories during his FINAL Disney World vacation!"; Rox Eskew: "Yet another Contemporary Resort decapitation about to take place."; and winner ktulu again: "It is true what they say, if you have the money, you can do anything at Walt Disney World. Except this. This guy is just a moron."
Thanks to all who entered! New picture coming Monday!

2014 CAPTION CONTEST, Week 13. I have to admit, this was one of the more complicated pictures I've created for this contest, but I like the result! How would you caption this picture?

The same pic will show here, on Facebook, and on The World of Wombat. I'll repost the pic with my favorite caption on Friday. No prize this week, other than the glory/infamy of being chosen.
