I think I've gotten pretty good at the whole suspension of disbelief thing being around these types of characters as often as I am. Even when I know the person really well I still don't see them, I see the character they're portraying. Life is just a lot more fun that way.
you dont ever go up to your friend and say hi using thier real name when they are working.
like I see at universal sometimes. like a certain beetlegeuse named bob.
You dont go up to him while he is onstage in costume and maleup and say,
Hey bob, wasabi dude?
I even heard of a Alice getting fired cause her boyfriend called her by her real name when she just still had the Alice wig on.
