Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

That being said, what you have tattooed (sp?) on your body is a commentary and a reflection of your personality, taste and common sense. The examples above are people I would *not* trust based on their choices. :oweye: Not to mention that they are mostlly mug shots.

And I would not hire them in a customer facing position except possibly as noted by bookbabe.
All I'm sayin' is what the study concluded..

I have a hard time understanding the placement of most tattoos. Most people buy art to enjoy it. A woman I worked with got a tramp stamp. She said it was for fun. I asked how it could be for fun when she could never see it unless she used a mirror. Have you ever watched the slow realization face?

The second group of pics was pulled from the net. Probably not mug shots.

Oh, I know. I was just saying the way I look at it.

Let's face it, body art has to be mostly about the enjoyment of others since you don't regularly see many parts of your body, unless you're self-obsessed. I guess covering your face would let you see the art regularly with shaving, and brushing your teeth and what not. Still, you have to wonder who exactly the audience is with body parts that are normally covered and you can't see. It's probably going to go largely unappreciated, unless you are regularly naked in front of groups of people.

That's why I went with "mostly" and even spelled it wrong to boot!

Do you think they'll ever be used?

Marijuana disposal boxes installed at Colorado airport

Colorado Springs Airport recently installed three green metal containers in the terminal where travelers can deposit marijuana, which is legal to buy in Colorado but banned in the airport. Sorry, but the airport is not taking job applications for amnesty box attendants.

With recreational marijuana now on sale in Colorado, Denver International and Colorado Springs airports have made it clear that travelers cannot bring pot through their facilities. Even medical marijuana is forbidden. But the folks at the Colorado Springs airport, about 70 miles south of Denver, don’t want travelers to dump bags of overlooked pot into the terminal trash bins. For that reason, the airport has installed “amnesty boxes.” A spokesman for the airport said the boxes will be monitored 24 hours a day, with Colorado Springs police responsible for emptying the boxes and destroying the drugs left inside.

Do they have any procedural guidelines set up for the destroying of the stuff. I hear it burns fairly well.

Well, of course, they inhale... that's how we breath. Nothing more sinister then that, I'm sure! Oh, and everyone loves to watch a fire too.

While you seem to have covered inflation amongst the bunnies, I don't think tuppence will get you much feed any longer.

Well, if you don't really like bunnies, tuppence might be all you want to spend.
