A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

A fun guy who had a lot of great roles. RIP.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Which makes me realize that we need an Anton Ego smilie here. Rest in peace, Mr. O'Toole.

Why would we do that when we know you will take care of it for us. It's much easier (for us, that is) this way.

Odd. I tried the different combinations of his name surrounded by colons, and looked through the smilies, and didn't see him. Sorry. As always, Zazu, you are the master.

The new system seems to need the format <space><colon><name><colon><space>. Don't know why.
... and looked through the smilies, and didn't see him.
For characters, click on "View more smilies" under the standards;
Use the pull-down menu to select "Characters";
Search alphabetically by first name.
If you're not sure who somebody is, hold your mouse over them and their name should pop up.
Sorry. As always, Zazu, you are the master.
Nothing to be sorry about. It's a new and slightly different system. But you're right, I
am the master!

And more then that it is amazing how you have managed to stay so humble about it.

I've found that maniacal laughter doesn't really come across in text all that well. And choirs singing hosannah's aren't cheap, even in Texas where I get a discount.
That, plus I recently got beat out for ownership of SGT by someone younger and faster (but whose insurance isn't as good).

I have a few ideas as to why. The main would be that in that coding, including spaces, you don't run into what my wife and I run into on Wednesday nights on an IRC thing we do, where if you have parenthesis next to the wrong letter or a colon or whatever, you wind up with weird smileys in the weirdest places.
So to me, having that idiotproofing is kinda nice. Besides, I think the majority of users would rather just click on the picture in the menu and so don't even need to worry about the spaces.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
