Survey

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Survey

DisneyMom was walking across the hub at DL last week. She was approached by a CM taking a survey. DisneyMom was asked, "Boxers or briefs?"

"Depends." DisneyMom replied.

Did you work in "Depends" in any of your answers? :hysterical:

My biggest complaint with the 10,000 surveys we have done is that our family of 6 can't get all the way through the turnstiles before we are attacked. I feel bad that we are right in the way and have even had to ask the CM to kindly move a little so that other guests could get through and around us. I understand that Disney is a little survey crazy and that market research is important, but these guys are more aggressive than the lotion pushers in the mall.

We did get Mickey Stickers.... I think they were to notify other Survey-Takers that we had been hit.

That reminds me of when I'd flown into Sydney, Australia. I was waiting for my suitcase to hit the carousel when the ag beagle :dog: walked by. A guy a few feet away had one of those collapsable handle suitcases and the beagle hit on it. The beagle handler made the guy take everything out. No contraband was found so the beagle and his handler moved on.

Just as the guy had repacked his bag and the suitcases started pouring out on to the carousel another ag beagle :dog: strolled by and hit on the same suitcase. Ignoring the owner's protests and a few of us who verified the first ag beagle had already made a visit, the handler made him unpack his bag again.

I'd bet that the guy will Clorox his bag before ever returning to Australia.
