I noticed they were "adding" to the shoreline land, by pushing fill into the lake, during my visit this week to the Magic kingdom. I also noticed that they had some containment booms in the water for this operation.

Looks like they are very close to completion on this project. Here is a quick snapshot I took from the monorail this past weekend.

Actually it cleared up after we got to the park. This picture was taken as we were inbound to the park, around 2 in the afternoon. It was raining on our way there, but it turned into a beautiful afternoon once it cleared. We are in hurricane season right now and usually get afternoon showers that last a couple of hours and then clear up. They help to bring the temperatures down to a comfortable level from the mid 90s we are in now.
