With me being a foreigner I didn't follow her politics all that closely, and some of what I did know I can't say I fully agreed with, but I always liked and respected her as tough lady running in a tough crowd.

You always knew where Lady Thatcher stood on any issue. She was never coy. My favorite story from the news last night was when she met with Gorbachov (after having said that she felt like he was someone she could work with) she start out by telling him "To begin with I must tell you I HATE communism".

I second that. Ms. Thatcher had way more class than Hillary does, did, or ever will. Must be a British thing....
