This'll Get The DR Guests Excited
Re: This'll Get The DR Guests Excited
I read somewhere that someone analyzed the coating mix of KFC chicken; far from the 11 herbs and spices claimed, there were only four ingredients--flour, salt, pepper, and MSG. When I told this to somebody, they said "No wonder I get Chinese Restaurant Syndrome whenever I eat KFC! That explains it!" So, if you're sensitive to MSG, don't eat at the Colonel's.

Not nearly as bad as KFC's. Just awfully burnt, charred, carcinogenic skin. I always make the joke that it's Costco's signature blend of "11 herbs and cancers" (INB4 above post).hobie16 wrote:The Colonel does the same thing that Costco does with their chickens; lotsa salt.

My wife is more sweet (in more ways than one) and I like savory more, although I don't dislike sweet.YANXWIN wrote:So that begs the question that causes quite the discussion at our house. Do you like sweets after a meal and then be done, or do you have to have something salty after dessert just to finish things off?
