Happy Thanksgiving!

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

We're doing our regular people at loose ends dinner. Basically, if you have no plans or family, you're invited. I think we're at eighteen people and more could appear. Some will bring side dishes so it should be a huge feed.

You missed the hula lessons. One of our neighbors and her daughters are primo hula dancers. They brought some of their stuff over and gave lessons to the ladies. The guys were all chicken.

Right after I took the picture, Tiny Bubbles showed up and played ukulele.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Big Cat T-day--especially the lion that snagged two turkeys!

Hobie, your home is beautiful!

We were going to have 15 people over at our place, but only about a third showed up--I understand there were transportation issues with some of them (no rides). But we ladies had a feast, and then I came home from work yesterday to find my roomies artfully rearranging the cupboards to fit in more food from the shelter next door. Some of it was given to me, with my color sticker on them. Well, between the leftovers and the extra food, I doubt any of us will be going grocery shopping any time soon! The brother of one of my roomies had absolutely nothing in the food line in his house, so this morning my roomies packed him a care package of some of the food we recieved and are taking, I heard them say, a 4 to 5 hour bus trip to deliver it. One of my other roomies has a truck, why didn't they ask her to drive them and save some time? But we are happy to share what we have--that's the secret of our success in this house, now in our second year.

Can I make a request? There used to be artwork on the homepage, now there's a big, boring white space. Can you put something there to make it look interesting?
