Well, this isn't what I wanted to read before I sign off hobie Keep the Razr close. Now I am a slight to the right worried. What are the plans "if" you must evacuate, with the highway closed?hobie16 wrote:Local TV is now showing an image that has all of the quake energy focused dead center on Maui. Oh oh.

This is what got everyone excited.Main Streeter wrote:Well, this isn't what I wanted to read before I sign off hobie Keep the Razr close. Now I am a slight to the right worried. What are the plans "if" you must evacuate, with the highway closed?

Maui was the bullseye. Turned out the six foot wave was only 2.5. Some roads and all the harbors are closed due to pumping. Other than that, all looks good.
I'll hop on my scooter in a while and go look around.

Whoa, I just saw "upgrade." I never get an upgrade. I'm down. You are across the island from Kaneohe, right? What's his name wants to know. Bet he has ties/memories. :D:hobie16 wrote:We'll upgrade you to the back yard. ;)

Kaneohe is on windward Oahu. We're on Maui. Other than the Coast Guard there hasn't been any military presence since WW II. That does leave out the secret Black Helicopter base the CIA maintains on the slopes of Haleakala but you didn't hear it hear. puglears

Glad everything is ok. You may have a bunch of north easterners coming to stay with you if this storm gets bad. Glad I live in Florida right now.
