I had a Blue Moon for the first time last month. The citrus flavor really comes through and makes for a sweet tasting beer. :D:

And if the on-site offerings don't impress you, there is a World of Beer either direction, about the same driving time if you know how to get to them. One on Restaurant Row (Sand Lake near Apopka/Vineland) and the other on 27 near BJ's.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I had Warsteiner at the Food and Wine Festival Party for the Senses two years ago. We had Radeberger at Epcot also. It was a little heavy for my liking. I do like Kronenburg. Hoegaarden is definitely an acquired taste that I haven't got.WEDFan wrote:A few years ago I went into Sommerfest in Epcot, and I couldn't see the menu clearly (aging eyes ) so I asked if they had Warsteiner. The young German kid behind the counter got kind of excited and said "You've been to Germany!" I had to dissappoint him, though, and tell him I had discovered it in German restaurants here in the US. He was still very nice and I got a Radeberger Pilsner instead. Not bad, but I would have preferred a Warsteiner. :D:
I don't think having a beer at this restaurant will be much different than having drinks at one of the three resorts outside the MK's door and hopping on the monorail. I am certain there are drunk people at MK every day for that matter.

Yup! Blue Moon and Hoegaarden are easily two of my favorite beers, I have to say though that ShockTop really isn't bad either but it has more of the 'hops' taste then the other two.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Blue Moon?
UK is excellent because they tend to serve Strongbow hard cider, which I could easily drink all day long. We also spotted it at Earl of Sandwich, Downtown Disney.

Blue Moon also has a really good Octoberfest beer. And the Yuengling Pumpkin was pretty good too. Both usually easy to find at the grocery store.

Many years ago I worked with Pete at his day job. He started brewing beer in his basement.drcorey wrote:I like Flat Tire and Pete's Wicked Ale too.
