Don't let seagulls into the parks.

Bold Seagull Snatches Camera From SF Tourist, Shoots Golden Gate Sunset
September 12, 2012 10:05 AM

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A seagull captured some stunning images of a San Francisco sunset after making off with a camera being used by a French tourist.

The tourist is identified on YouTube as Nathalie Rollandin. She was filming the sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge near the entrance to the popular Crissy Field walking path when the seagull stanched her GoPro camera and flew away. After skimming over the water and filming for about 60 seconds, the gull dropped the camera on a walkway next to the St. Francis Yacht Club.

The 26-year-old said in her comments that she ran around the beach after the gull and asked a tourist if she had seen a seagull with a camera in its mouth, which drew a strange look.

She eventually recovered the camera and uploaded the video to YouTube.

That bird's video is more exciting that 99% of the things you find on youtube.

We actually have a couple of seagulls that come to chill out on the buoy that the Finding Nemo seagulls are on. Pretty amusing to see kids react to real-life seagulls being next to cartoon ones.

What fun! There's a memory with the video to prove it.

Nice that the bird left the camera in an accessible place.

We saw that a few days ago. Send in Nigel to scoop them up.
